NHL/NHLPA First Shift Program Coming to OCMHA

Dear OCMHA Families,

We are proud to announce that our association has been approved to host an NHL/NHLPA First Shift program in Winter 2026! Designed to foster a positive, affordable, and welcoming experience for new-to-hockey families, this program will help make hockey more accessible to all. 

About the Program:

• Available to children aged 6-10 who have never played organized hockey.

• Registrants will participate in six weekly on-ice sessions with a focus on fun and fundamentals.

• Full head-to-toe equipment will be provided courtesy of Bauer.

• Registration costs $299.
