Reminder: First Shift Registration Opens This Monday!

Dear OCMHA families,

Do you know of a kid aged 6–10 who has never played hockey and might be interested in trying it? Please pass along the following message to anyone who comes to mind!

Dear Prospective Hockey Parent,

Do you have a kid aged 6–10 who is interested in hockey but you're not sure where to start? Maybe you don't want to commit to all the gear without them trying it first? Then consider joining our NHL/NHLPA First Shift Program.

Designed to help your child fall in love with hockey, this six-week learn-to-play program focuses on having fun while learning the basics. Equipment is included with registration, which is only $299. 

We are also focusing on boosting female representation in Ottawa hockey. We have recruited top notch female coaches (males too), so this will be a great opportunity for any girls who have hesitated to play with the boys to boost their confidence with their peers!

Registration will open June 2^nd at 12pm and spots will be limited; consider creating an HCR account in advance to speed up the registration process. Some associations have had their programs fill up in the first 15 minutes!
